Emirates is planning the launch of a new luxury first class cabin on its Airbus A380 and Boeing 777s which will resemble a private railway cabin and cater for one passenger.
The new Residence product will be rolled out among its existing fleet and debut on flights between Dubai and London at a cost of $US20,000 ($A26,229).
The airline already offers first class passengers a 12 square metre luxury suite with a sleeping, living and bathroom area, as well as a private butler.
