Five English guesthouses have been named in the top 10 B&Bs in the world.
Bindon Bottom B&B in West Lulworth, Dorset, beat competition from Florida, Prague and Bruges to scoop first place in the 2017 Travellers' Choice awards by travel review website TripAdvisor.
South Lodge Guest House in Bridlington, East Yorkshire, was ranked third, while Swallows Rest B&B in Brigstock, Northamptonshire, came fifth.
The positions were based on the quality and quantity of traveller reviews.
VisitEngland chief executive Sally Balcombe said: "It is fantastic news that five of England's B&Bs are rated by travellers in the top 10 globally, including the top spot.
"This continues the upward trend we've seen in recent years demonstrating that our tourism accommodation and service is not only exceeding customer expectations but up there competing with the world's very best."
Bindon Bottom B&B owners Lisa and Clive Orchard said: "We really do feel so grateful to be able to meet and accommodate guests from all over the world, who have come to Lulworth Cove to experience England's spectacular World Heritage listed Jurassic Coastline.
"Helping our guests to have the best possible experience of Dorset is of utmost importance to us, and so it's genuinely heart-warming to be recognised by them for what we do."
