Polish hotels are number one in the world in providing free wi-fi to their guests, with 98 per cent of hotels offering free internet access.
Second in the study of 500,000 hotels in 52 countries was Turkey at 96 per cent coverage, according to the study by comparison portal Kayak.
Outside of Europe, the United States and China were forerunners, with 93 per cent each, while Thailand followed at 90 per cent.
