Ucango Travel & Cruise would like to share with you the highlights from our recent ship inspection on Voyager of the Seas, a Royal Caribbean International ship. Spoiler alert...We absolutely loved it!
Voyager of the Seas is luxurious, spacious and exciting, not to mention it is one of Australia’s largest ships catering for 3200 guests; it boasts 15 decks, 10 pools and whirlpools, 14 bars, clubs and lounges.
The ship accommodates for the activity-minded, with a rock-climbing wall, ice skating rink, mini-golf course and much more. Voyager of the Seas underwent an $80-million revamp in 2014, adding a FlowRider surfing simulator, 3D movies, virtual balcony cabins and several new on-board dining options.
Voyager of the Seas is certainly family-orientated with the DreamWorks Experience, including parades with your favourite characters from Shrek, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda and much more! There are also other family-friendly activities including games, contests and enrichment classes.
Once you’ve spent some time testing out the surfing simulator or joining in with the Madagascar parade, it’s time to relax and put your feet up. Visit the Vitality Day Spa and choose from over 100+ treatments, or attend a yoga or boxing class at the gym. Or perhaps a bit of retail therapy might be what you’re after? Discover a variety of name-brand, duty-free shopping including jewellery, perfumes, apparel and shopping for teens and kids.
The hardest part of your day will be choosing one of many dining options. Complimentary dining includes the stunning Main Dining Room, Windjammer Café, Café Promenade and of course room service. You also have the choice of specialty dining at Chops Grille Steakhouse, Italian-style Giovanni’s Table, Izumi Japanese Cuisine, Jonny Rockets 1950’s style cafe and Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream.
Finish the night off with complimentary Broadway-style entertainment in the Main Theatre, or an ice-skating show, and for the adults there is even a Vegas-style Casino Royale with 274 slots and 16 tables, plus several bars to go have a few cocktails.
