Departing 10 January 2018, guests fly from Australia to Mexico to relax for two nights in a Cancun hotel, with plenty of time to enjoy this beach resort and party town. On 12 January, take a domestic flight to Havana to board Voyages to Antiquity’s Aegean Odyssey for a weeklong cruise exploring UNESCO World Heritage sites and the Caribbean.
The boutique style, 350-passenger ship docks overnight near Old Havana for an extra day of touring. After a day at sea, the ship then visits historic Cienfuegos and Casilda, near Trinidad city, considered the best-preserved colonial town in Cuba. Next stop is the vibrant and ethnically diverse Santiago de Cuba, before the last port of Montego Bay.
Passengers are then transferred to the airport to fly to New York for an exciting three-night stay in a four-star hotel. The highlight of one day is a sightseeing cruise circumnavigating Manhattan Island, with a close-up view of the Statue of Liberty as well as 100 other attractions, bridges and rivers. The rest of the time is free to explore NYC as you wish.
On 22 January a coach is provided to the airport for the return flight, arriving in Australia on 24 January.
